Cloud desktops, also known as cloud workspaces or Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS), provide Windows or Linux desktops in the cloud that are customised for your needs and can be deployed in minutes, meaning you can scale up or down the number you need as required.

This allows you to provide a standardised workspace to your staff with access to your corporate resources regardless of where they are located. All that is needed is a device that is connected to the internet. This might be a desktop computer, a thin client or even a tablet. This eliminates complexity in managing hardware, software, OS versions and patches. And all of it can be done in a fraction of the time it takes to build and customise a physical workstation. These cloud desktops can also be accessed at any time and are paid for on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. They can also be provisioned and deprovisioned as you like.
